Leadville Historic Tour, CO

Leadville Historic Tour, CO Map
No one who visits Colorado should fail to plan at least a day in Leadville, probably more, to see all that is here. Being the museum capital of Colorado, Leadville provides a glimpse into the past including the location where the infamous Doc Holiday shot his last man, Billy Allen, over a dispute on a $5 gambling loan.

From the famous Tabor Opera House which was once billed the Greatest Theater West of the Mississippi to the most in-depth look at the American Mining industry which attracted millions to the West. Leadville is the one town you must visit to truly appreciate the history and hardwork that made Colorado what it is today.

Attractions are open primarily in the summer, however the National Mining Museum & Hall of Fame is open year round.
